The Burr Ridge Community Park Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that secures and distributes funding to provide for the enhancement of the environmental, educational and recreational programs and facilities of the Burr Ridge Park District and its users.

The Park Foundation was incorporated in 2008 by a group of individuals dedicated to making our parks the best they can be. Combining monetary donations with time and energy will nurture our community spirit, protect and preserve open space, and promote the health and welfare of our residents.

By working closely with the Burr Ridge Park District, the Foundation plans to identify projects that will preserve open space, expand recreational facilities and opportunities, and develop environmental initiatives. Financial resources are not sufficient to provide future capital improvements. The Park District needs community support to continue its tradition of “quality living through quality leisure”.
