Garywood Park was purchased in 1988 and the 1.5 acre site was originally developed in 1992. The Park contains a small, elementary size ball field, a playground, and a gazebo/plaza area. Abundant landscaping adds variety and beauty to the park. Garywood Park is used regularly by the surrounding neighborhood with the gazebo and playground areas popular with toddlers and parents. The baseball field accommodates neighborhood pick-up games and other activities such as kite flying, football, etc.
