The Burr Ridge Community Center and all Park District programs and activities scheduled there and at any satellite facility remain postponed until further notice.
All parks are open for hiking, biking, and open space usage provided that all social distancing requirements are complied with and are so marked at each park site. ALL PLAYGROUNDS ARE CLOSED. Tennis courts are open for singles play only with a maximum of four persons in the fence line at any time. Groups of 10 or less are allowed on outdoor premises with strict adherence to social distancing required. This Order will remain in effect until further notice.
Should you need to communicate with the Park District, staff is monitoring both e-mails and voice mails and will return the communication sometime soon.

Outdoor Park Facilities Available During COVID-19 Pandemic
The Park District would like to thank the residents and community at large for demonstrating care and caution and social distancing courtesy during their recent visits to our parks.
The Park District, with assistance from the Burr Ridge Police Department, is regularly patrolling the parks and discouraging poor social distancing behaviors and groups exceeding 10 persons in accordance with State guidelines. All playgrounds, and the District has expanded this application to our shelters, fitness courts and skate park, are closed as required by State guidelines.
Tennis courts are open for non-wheeled play, with racket play limited to singles and a maximum of 4 persons inside the fencing at any time, practicing social distancing. Open space, grounds, sports fields and baseball fields are open for groups not exceeding 10 persons and practicing social distancing as outlined by the Governor’s current executive order.
As conditions change, so too will the status of playgrounds and other facilities currently closed so please check back with us periodically. The Park District appreciates everyone’s patience, support and cooperation.

About Burr Ridge Park District
The Burr Ridge Park District strives to promote quality living through quality leisure. To this end, the District emphasizes well maintained and equipped parks, playgrounds and open space, clean and efficient indoor facilities, comprehensive and diverse program opportunities, and a commitment to the wholesome well being of the community.
The District encompasses approximately 5.15 square miles, and serves a resident population of 7,400. Corporate boundaries include about 65% of the Village of Burr Ridge and portions of unincorporated DuPage County. It is governed by an elected Board of five park commissioners serving staggered six year terms.
The present park system includes twelve park sites totaling just over 79 acres. Throughout the system, a wide variety of recreational facilities and amenities are provided. The District’s community park, Harvester Park, is a 37 acre site featuring 17 acres of wetlands/prairie buffer and the 10,000 square foot Burr Ridge Community Center. The Woods Pool park site features a 90,000 gallon outdoor pool. Seven different playgrounds, featuring modern equipment and diverse creative play opportunities, are located throughout the park system.
The Park District offers a year round, comprehensive recreational program featuring hundreds of programs for all ages. Programs are located throughout the community, at park sites, Woods Pool, the Burr Ridge Community Center, and local schools. Additionally, the District offers Community Center rental accommodations for the community.
